In short
- We collect only what we need to quote and arrange your trip: mainly your name, mobile number and trip details.
- We use it to contact you about your enquiry or booking. We never sell it.
- We share it only with the driver assigned to your trip and the services that run this website for us.
- You can ask us to show you, correct or delete your details at any time.
1. Who we are
Dangi Mobility Solutions (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides taxi, outstation cab and tour services from New Delhi, India. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you use www.dangimobility.com, send us an enquiry, or contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email.
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the “Data Fiduciary” for this data. That means we decide why and how it is used, and we are responsible for it. This page is also our privacy policy under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it.
2. What we collect
Details you give us
- Enquiry forms on our home and contact pages: your name, mobile number, pickup location and destination. If you choose to add them, we also collect your travel date and preferred cab type. We record the date and time each enquiry is sent.
- Calls, WhatsApp and email: your phone number or email address, and anything you tell us, such as your pickup address, number of passengers, luggage and trip plans.
- Bookings: the details needed to run your trip, such as pickup address and time, the name and contact number of the person travelling, and a record of the fare paid.
This website does not take online payments. We will never ask for your card number, CVV, UPI PIN, OTP or bank password. Please don’t send us identity documents unless we ask for them for a specific reason, such as a permit required for your route. If we do ask, we will tell you why and use them only for that purpose.
Details collected automatically
- Technical data: your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit and when. Our hosting provider records this in server logs, and Google Analytics uses it to give us visit statistics.
- Bot check: when you send a form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks your browser to confirm a real person is sending it. To do this, it processes your IP address and technical information from your browser.
- Cookies: see section 7.
3. How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, share a fare and confirm your booking.
- To arrange and run your trip, including giving your pickup details to your driver and calling you on the day of travel.
- To help you before, during and after your trip, and to deal with feedback or complaints.
- To keep the website safe, block spam and stop misuse of our forms.
- To understand, in overall numbers, how people use the website so we can improve it.
- To keep our accounts and meet our legal duties, including lawful requests from government authorities.
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We won’t send you promotional messages unless you have agreed to receive them, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
4. Why we are allowed to use it
When you send an enquiry or contact us, you give us your details yourself so that we can reply, quote and arrange your trip. Indian law allows us to use them for that purpose.
Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time by contacting us (see section 13). Withdrawing your consent doesn’t affect anything we did before. Without a way to contact you, though, we may not be able to complete a booking.
6. Data stored outside India
Some of the providers listed above store or process data on servers outside India, for example in the United States. Indian law allows this, except to countries the Government of India restricts. We use well-known providers that protect data with industry-standard security.
8. How long we keep it
- Enquiries and bookings: we keep these for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry, your trip and any follow-up. We delete them within 3 years of your last contact with us.
- Records the law requires: we may keep some records longer, but only for the legal purpose. Examples are accounts and tax records, and data and logs that Indian law requires us to keep for at least one year.
- Website statistics: Google Analytics keeps visit data for no more than 14 months. Our hosting provider keeps server logs for a short period.
When we no longer need your data, we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.
9. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Show you your data: give you a summary of the personal data we hold about you, how we use it, and who we have shared it with.
- Correct or update details that are wrong or incomplete.
- Delete your data, unless the law requires us to keep it.
- Withdraw your consent at any time.
- Resolve a complaint about how we have handled your data.
- Name a nominee: choose someone to use these rights for you if you die or become unable to use them yourself.
To make a request, contact us using the details in section 13. Please contact us from the mobile number or email you used with us, or tell us what it was, so we can check the request really comes from you. There is no charge, and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
10. How we protect it
- The website uses HTTPS, so details you send are encrypted on their way to us.
- Enquiries are stored on Google Cloud, which encrypts stored data. Only our team has access to them.
- Our server checks every form submission, and bot protection blocks spam and automated attacks.
- Only the people who need your details for your trip, such as our booking staff and your driver, can see them.
No website or system is completely secure. If a data breach affects your personal data, we will inform you and the authorities as Indian law requires.
11. Children
Our services are meant for adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to make the enquiry or booking. When a parent or guardian books a trip that includes children, we use the children’s details only to arrange that trip. If we learn that a child has given us personal data without a parent’s or guardian’s consent, we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. If we make a significant change, we will say so clearly on this page.
13. Contact us and Grievance Officer
For questions, requests or complaints about your personal data, contact our Grievance Officer:
Grievance Officer, Dangi Mobility Solutions
New Delhi, India
We will reply as soon as we can and resolve your request within 30 days.
